Heathrow airport is not directly connected to Southampton by train. At least one change will have to the made. The most popular option is via London Waterloo station. Terminals 2, 3 and 4 are connected to Waterloo train station via the London Underground station on the Heathrow branch of the Piccadilly line. Heathrow Terminal 4 is also served by TfL Rail station. Heathrow Terminal 5 is a shared railway and London Underground. The journey to London Waterloo will approximately take 1 hour. Kindly consider the walking time to and from the stations. The journey from Waterloo station to Southampton Central appoximately lasts 55 minutes. Ticket price vary depending on the date and time. The average price for a Standard class is around 37.00 GBP and 1st class 52.40 GBP per person.

An alternative option would be to reach Paddington station, through Reading and Basingstoke Railway Station. The journey approximately lasts 1 hour and 50 minutes excluding the journey time from Heathrow airport to Paddington.
